IL PALACCIO NEL CILENTO WEDDING
Ariana & Frank, 7 June 2025

The wedding venue, Tenuta Il Pilaccio nel Cilento, is an enchanting 19th-century historic manor nestled in the Cilento hills – a place where unspoiled nature meets timeless elegance, creating the perfect setting for an intimate and unforgettable event.
The ceremony took place in a small church just up the street, from where the couple walked back to the venue surrounded by their guests – greeted along the way by neighbors and passersby, in a scene that felt quintessentially Italian. Aperitivo carried on almost until sunset, followed by dinner in the garden and a poolside party that ran late into the night, the couple, both originally from Venezuela, brought a piece of home to Italy with traditional Venezuelan dances and music keeping the celebration alive until the early hours.

Planning Your Destination Wedding in Italy?
I photograph a few weddings in Italy each season and handle my own travel – one less thing to plan from abroad. If Italy is your plan – Cilento, Puglia, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, tell me your story and your date.
Good to know
Does an Italian wedding start the night before?
Often, and it should. A welcome dinner the evening before gives your guests time to settle in and get to know each other, and gives your photographs a second setting beyond the wedding day itself.
Do you charge extra for travel to Italy?
Travel goes into the quote from the start, so you know the full number on day one.Planning Your Destination Wedding in Catalonia?
